Educational guidance with clear limits

Someward offers a private Starting Later exercise and optional self-directed learning guides. It is not therapy, medical or mental health care, diagnosis, crisis support, attractiveness or personality evaluation, a dating service, or a promise of confidence, improved mental health, a date, or a relationship.

You decide whether an exercise or guide fits, whether to continue, and whether to use a suggested step. If Someward does not fit your situation, you can stop at any time. See Safety & support for the educational boundary and urgent-support resources.

What stays in this browser

Someward has no account or cloud progress profile. Choices in the Starting Later exercise stay only in the current page and disappear when you leave or refresh. The result has no standalone save action. The original concern, replacement thought, action, timing, and displayed wording are not saved. Writing entered during guide Practice stays on that screen and disappears when you leave, refresh, finish, or skip. No person or AI reads or assesses these private responses.

If this browser already contains a saved Starting Later step, Someward keeps only its fixed step reference, broad time window, check-ins, and the dates needed to show it again. The wording is rebuilt from Someward's own content instead of being stored as your answer. You can remove it from Profile.

During the bounded iPhone return pulse, an eligible completed reset may create a separate short-lived browser record containing a random anonymous pulse code, the first-value time and local day, and fixed once-only measurement markers. A temporary encrypted handoff can carry that anchor to an installed Home Screen app. The current result does not attach a step code or timing. It never carries your concern, replacement thought, displayed wording, or other free text. The opaque handoff is placed after the # in the temporary install address, so it is not sent with the page request, and the installed app removes it before redemption. Someward does not keep a handoff database, so the token expires quickly but cannot be guaranteed globally one-time before expiry.

When you start a guide, Someward saves completed Lessons and your exact place in this browser automatically. Any existing saved step remains available. Anyone who can use the same browser profile may be able to see saved guide progress and a current step.

Usage analytics

Anonymous usage analytics

Someward uses PostHog EU Cloud to collect anonymous usage events such as page visits and exits, time and scroll depth, masked interactions, performance, browser errors, and masked session replays. PostHog IP anonymization is enabled. Replay masks all screen text and inputs; autocapture ignores forms and editable controls.

Someward does not send which concern, replacement thought, action, or timing you selected in the pre-save exercise. It also does not send Practice writing, displayed action or replacement wording, console logs, request or response bodies, canvas contents, raw referrers, full UTM attribution, or persistent person profiles. The reset sends only the step number and approximate completion time. A short tab-only record prevents duplicate exposure and completion events.

After a successful save, analytics may include the fixed step code, broad timing, saved status, and later check-in choices. PostHog uses a secure first-party cookie and browser storage to keep random anonymous device and session identifiers across visits for up to 365 days. You can control analytics in Profile. In eligible production browsers it starts automatically unless Do Not Track is enabled or analytics was turned off. Query strings and fragments are removed from analytics event URLs. Meta Pixel, Meta CAPI, advertising trackers, and sensitive ad targeting remain absent.

The connected project currently retains general event data for up to seven years and masked session replays for 30 days. Turning analytics off in Profilestops future capture on that browser, removes the PostHog cookie and persistent analytics identity, and removes the local historical guide-return marker. It also stops retention-pulse event capture. The bounded local pulse anchor and one-shot cancellation handle may remain until the seven-day window ends, you cancel, or you reset local data so the reminder and check-in can still work without PostHog. A small local opt-out entry remains so the choice is remembered. Already collected anonymous data remains until its retention period expires. Because Someward has no account or identified person profile, the operator cannot reliably locate one visitor's anonymous events.

No notification permission is requested before you complete the reset, and an ordinary browser tab never requests it. During the gated pulse, an eligible iPhone browser may explain how to open Safari and manually use Share → Add to Home Screen. Installing creates a Someward icon and a separate app storage context that other people using the device may notice. For up to 30 minutes, the encrypted setup handoff is held in the install URL fragment and in a Secure, HttpOnly cookie limited to the handoff API. iPhone copies that cookie into the new Home Screen app so setup can continue if it drops the URL fragment; the app redeems and clears the cookie on its first launch. The handoff contains only a random pulse code and the reset's UTC and local-day anchors—not answers, a saved step, or notification data. Only a direct Remind me tomorrow tap inside that installed app can request permission.

If you grant permission, Someward asks Vercel Workflow to hold an encrypted delivery envelope containing the scheduled UTC time, random idempotency and dedupe material, and your browser's PushSubscription until approximately the same local time tomorrow. The notification always says Ready when you are and Your next step is here when you want it. It does not contain your answers or plan. The installed app keeps only bounded cancellation material and the scheduled time. The fixed notification route records an anonymous open after the app hydrates; opening it is not a meaningful return. Pulse analytics contains only the random pulse code, fixed event/variant, a granted/denied/dismissed permission enum, and—after a deliberate check-in or another reset—day 1–7 plus notification or organic source. It contains no notification time, subscription, token, action, outcome, or wording. You can cancel the one schedule from the same installed app or its Profile control. No multiple reminders are offered.

Hosting

Hosted on a business-permitted Vercel plan

Vercel hosts and protects the site and processes ordinary technical request data needed to provide that service. On 23 July 2026, the live Someward project was confirmed on an active Vercel Pro plan, which Vercel describes for professional developers and businesses.

Someward takes no payment and has no checkout, subscription, trial, advertising revenue, or affiliate links during this preview.

Deletion

Remove saved progress in this browser

Use Reset to start screen in Profileto delete Someward learning data saved in this browser, including the current step, check-in history, and local return-pulse marker, then return to the first Starting Later screen. In the installed app, reset also attempts to cancel its active one-shot notification and removes the local cancellation handle only after cancellation is confirmed. You can also clear site data in the browser's settings. There is no account, remote plan, or server-side learning-progress record for the operator to look up or delete.
